Authors are required to submit original work that has not been published or is under review elsewhere. All submissions will undergo plagiarism checks with suitable detection software. Manuscripts that demonstrate plagiarism, self-plagiarism, data fabrication, data falsification, or any other misconduct will be rejected.

All authors listed must have contributed significantly to the research and manuscript preparation. The corresponding author is responsible for confirming that all co-authors have reviewed and approved the final version, and consented to submit it to the conference.

Research involving human participants such as surveys, interviews, focus groups, observations, or experiments must adhere to relevant ethical standards and institutional guidelines. Authors should verify that informed consent was obtained from participants when required and that appropriate ethical approval was granted by the relevant institutional review boards or ethics committees.

Authors should present their findings with honesty, accuracy, and transparency. Data must not be fabricated, manipulated, or misrepresented. When needed, authors should be ready to provide supporting data or documentation to confirm the validity of their results.

Authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any actual or potential conflicts of interest that could affect the review, publication, or presentation of research. Any identified conflicts will be managed transparently and appropriately.

All eligible submissions will undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review. Reviewers are expected to evaluate manuscripts objectively, fairly, and confidentially, based on scholarly merit, originality, methodological rigour, and relevance to the conference theme and sub-themes.

Editors are accountable for maintaining a review process that is fair, transparent, and unbiased. Their decisions will strictly depend on the academic quality, originality, and relevance of submissions. Discrimination based on nationality, gender, institutional affiliation, race, religion, or political beliefs is strictly prohibited.

Authors utilising artificial intelligence or generative tools in manuscript preparation must properly disclose this usage. They are fully accountable for the accuracy, originality, integrity, and ethical standards of all submitted materials. AI tools cannot be credited as authors.

If significant errors, ethical violations, or misconduct are found either before or after publication, the Conference Editorial Committee has the right to reject, withdraw, correct, or retract those papers from the conference proceedings.

FATAS 2026 focuses on encouraging responsible research, innovation, and knowledge sharing that support sustainable food systems, agricultural development, technological progress, and resilient futures. By submitting a manuscript, authors agree to adhere to this Ethics Statement and all conference submission rules.
